Real food. Real yummy.

I’ve been living the Paleo lifestyle (far from perfectly) for a couple years. I was introduced to it during a crossfit challenge. Due to autoimmune issues, I was already gluten-free, and avoided processed sugars with a few other food allergens. So the switch wasn’t too difficult. When I came across the Paleo food philosophy, everything just made sense and my health improved immensely. I was finally able to quit taking about half the supplements, I leaned out, my skin cleared up… yada yada… this sounds like every Paleo testimonal. Basically it is all about eating REAL food, not the processed, engineered stuff that fills the average grocery store aisles.

But I have always loved good food and decadence. None of that has gone away. Instead, my meals are far more delicious with real flavors.

Many friends have asked me to write a food blog, and between work, school and enjoying life… I don’t really have the time to transcribe this passion. But since I have to start something for school, maybe this will stick. I’ve posted a few recent meals with recipes that you can find links to on the sidebar titled “Real food. Real Yummy.”

Cheers!
